iVASC is a consortium of scientists, clinicians and industry, aiming to devise new tools for atherothrombosis research and to apply them to the topic of the relationships between atherothrombosis and oral health or sleep disordered breathing (particularly myocardial infarction and stroke). The tools being developed are 1/ the FRENCHIE multicenter cohort of 15 000 myocardial infarction survivors, which will be linked to national healthcare databases to ensure comprehensive and low cost follow up. 2/ tools for risk stratification and biomarkers. 3/ novel methods for molecular imaging of atherothrombosis.
